Today marks the end of an important chapter in my journey with D-Style English Academy. Today was my last day working at my old office, me-labo2 by SET.

I’m very grateful to SET for the incredible support they provided when I started my school at the co-sharing office. They not only accepted my startup business at me-labo2 but also offered significant help with Japanese support and helped me to apply to advertising agencies.

D-Style English Academy will continue to grow at our new office location, with the help and collaboration of Kisaragi Legal Office. However, we will always remember the support we received along the way.

If you’re starting a small business, I highly recommend me-labo2 by SET. The office is conveniently located near Fujisawa Station and offers many benefits. My old room is now available, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful.

今日は、D-Style英語学園の重要な章が終わる日となりました。me-labo2 by SETでの最後の勤務日でした。

SETには、学校を共同利用オフィスで始める際に大変お世話になりました。me-labo2でのスタートアップビジネスを受け入れてくださっただけでなく、日本語サポートや広告会社への申請プロセスでも多大な協力をいただきました！

D-Style英語学園は、新しいオフィスの場所で、きさらぎリーガルオフィスと共に前進し続けます。しかし、これまでの支援を決して忘れることはありません。

I like working with my hands and doing DIY projects. However, I'm not so good at doing crafts. But, I wanted to decorate my classroom with a nature theme, because it reflects the theme of my website, and my passion of nature.

So, I tried making small ornaments using natural and artificial materials. My wife also helped me with sewing the curtains.

Overall, I'm very happy with the natural decorations of the classroom. When you come to D-Style, I hope you will feel that you are learning English in a forest!

私は手作業やDIYプロジェクトが好きですが、クラフトはあまり得意ではありません。でも、教室を自然のテーマで飾りたかったのです。これは、私のウェブサイトのテーマや自然への情熱を反映しているからです。

Today, I had only online lessons and a lot of remote work.
So, I returned to my old office [me-laboⅡ].
My old room was empty and quiet. I felt a little sad. I worked here for almost 2 years!

Although this small room was too small to operate an English school, I'm grateful for this small space because it helped me with my startup English school.

Dear students of D-Style,

I'm sorry it was too hot in the waiting room last week. As you know, I was unable to install a wall-mounted aircon because there is no hole in the wall.

However, I found a good solution, and I bought a high-quality [スポットエアコン] and I did a lot of custom work in order to attach the exhaust hose to the old-style bay window.

Please excuse the small white curtain. It is covering the construction work. I will make a better decoration in the future.

Please feel free now to come early to the school, to prepare before your lesson or finish your homework. You can relax in the waiting room while studying.

先週、待合室が暑くてごめんなさい。壁に穴がないので、壁掛けエアコンを設置できませんでした。

でも、良い解決策を見つけました。高品質のスポットエアコンを買って、古い出窓に排気ホースを取り付けるためにカスタム作業をしました。

小さな白いカーテンが工事部分を覆っていますが、お許しください。今後、もっと良い装飾をします。

これからは授業の前に準備をしたり宿題をしたりするために、早めに学校に来てください。待合室でリラックスしながら勉強ができます。

今日はこの古いオフィスビルにウォシュレットを設置しました。もともとウォシュレットがついていなかったからです。通常、ウォシュレットの設置は難しくありませんが、今回は作業スペースが非常に狭くて大変でした。

また、止水栓と給水タンクの距離が少し近かったため、タンク給水ホースを修正する必要がありました。

配管作業は、水漏れがあると最初からやり直さなければならないので、イライラすることがあります。今回は、分岐金具にシールテープを使用するのを忘れませんでした。そのため、漏れをテストしたときには水漏れがありませんでした！

今日は作業が終わり、ウォシュレットは正常に動作しています。よかったです！

私たちのオフィスには多くのDIYプロジェクトがありますが、それは楽しいことであり、お客様を満足させるためのモチベーションにもなります。

Today, I installed a washlet in this old office building, because it didn't include one.
Normally, installing a washlet isn't difficult. But, the working space is very narrow so this time it was very tough.

Also, the distance between the stop valve and the water supply tank was a little close, so I had to modify the water supply line.

Plumbing work can be frustrating, because if there is a water leak, the work must be re-done from the start.

This time, I remembered to use teflon tape on the plumbing fittings. So when I tested for leaks, there was no leakage!

The work was done for today and the washlet is working fine. I'm relieved!

There are many DIY projects with our own office. But, it is fun and I'm motivated to keep our clients satisfied.

フィリピンへの短い旅行から戻って、義理の家族に再会できてとても嬉しかったです。
